OUR HISTORY
The year was 2015 when the Founder Mr. Andiva A. Elvis had just lost the father figure of his life, his Grandfather. Later that evening sitting down around a bonfire thinking of how to move on with life, surrounded by his cousins and friends who each served in different professions, he thought it wise to have a sort of cooperative society with his cousins where each individual will be remitting substantial premiums to the society which would go to aiding his then alive grandmother’s upkeep and hospital bills, make investments as they would so choose and also be a source of loans for the members in their individual business and life quests. As all families, everyone got busy.
While in employment, this idea increasingly turned into a desire for him to bring valuable industry solutions, impact the world at a large scale and build a legacy for his generations to come. He not only wanted to formalize the business but create such excellence that would be the service blueprint across nations. His spirit was governed with growth and with that he started researching for words that meant “Moving forward” and begun with his surname letter “A”. Spanish was revealed: Adelante – ahead, forward. The group was then formulated in August, 2017. While we have since evolved, we are proud of our opulent heritage and continue to register the kingdom keys and principles to our triumph!

Residential Market
A decree from the State Department of Housing and Urban Development of the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works structured that all affordable housing development projects under the nation’s Big 4 Agenda will be required to meet the International Finance Corporation’s (IFC) Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies (EDGE) green buildings standard.
EDGE is a green building certification system that enables design teams and project owners to assess the most cost effective ways to incorporate energy and water-saving options into their buildings and is an innovation of IFC, a member of the World Bank Group.
The Sectional Properties Act, 2019:
A timely addition to Property Law
A really needed Act of Law in our real estate industry, The SPA, seeks to provide for the division of buildings into units to be owned by individual practitioners and common property (what is currently known as common area) to be owned by proprietors of the units as tenants in common. This Act guides on the use and management of the units and common property. The current regime of laws are not sufficient enough and they do not respond to the emerging market needs such as the growing demand of affordable housing, mixed use developments and master planned communities.
The SPA stipulates that all long term leases have to conform to this law in twenty (24) months after it is enforcement. This will, must and shall apply to Apartments, Flats, Maisonettes, townhouses and offices. The process can be initiated by a Developer, a Management Company/Corporation or any property owner.

The values we now share are embodied in what goes on at Adelante from day to day. Our family must exhibit ethical and honest behavior and Adelante must offer fair, equal conduct in a Godly, safe, healthy workplace. We know that in such an environment, sound decision making and effective strategies flow naturally from the give-and-take of daily business engagements among all team members.
